  • Leah's approach is simple: teachers deserve strong support and students deserve to be at the heart of that support. Leah gets to know individuals and teams, where they work and the communities they serve, to develop a best fit plan for each school: what will help right now and what will help them grow into the future. Leah is skilled at working with teachers and leaders at all levels: from preservice teacher candidates in the literacy and classroom pedagogies focused subjects at La Trobe University, to working with leaders, providing system level-advice. Her focus is always on high quality instruction and holding educators so they can do their best.

  • Leah has a vast knowledge of how to teach using evidence-based practices. She is an advocate for students, families, teachers and a voice to school leaders on what we should all be fighting to achieve. Leah has supported our school with practical teaching resources, challenging conversations, research articles and peer coaching. Her understanding of the demands on teachers and the rights of students motivates everything she does, providing an efficient, value for money and worthwhile consultancy service. Working collaboratively with Leah has in my opinion helped fast track our schools progress in providing evidence-based literacy instruction by more than 18 months. We will continue to work with Leah on this important work and would recommend her support to other schools looking to learn and improve.

  • Leah’s support with implementing The Writing Revolution has truly transformed our school’s approach to writing. By integrating evidence-based strategies grounded in the science of learning, she has helped our students develop clearer, more consistent writing skills throughout literacy. Leah’s expertise and dedication have made a measurable impact on both teaching practices and student outcomes. Beyond her expertise, Leah’s great sense of humour and genuine ability to connect with our team have made the process enjoyable and inspiring. We’re grateful for her invaluable contribution to our school community.
