About Leah Myers
Leah is an experienced educator, instructional coach, and education consultant who works side-by-side with schools to bring evidence-informed practice to life.
With over a decade and a half of classroom experience, she understands the daily demands teachers face and what it takes to implement lasting change. She has worked across both government and independent sectors as a Learning Specialist and Leading Teacher, and has supported educators through coaching, curriculum planning, and professional learning. Leah has worked with SPELD Victoria, La Trobe University and The Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership, and regularly presents at conferences on effective, evidence-aligned instruction.
What sets Leah apart is a feet-on-the-ground approach. She doesn't just talk about theory, Leah gets into classrooms, models lessons, and shows teachers exactly what research-informed practice looks like in action. She supports schools to implement explicit instruction and structured literacy in ways that align with cognitive science, making teaching more effective and strengthening student learning outcomes.
